My Bio
My name is Janelle, I am a college student working on an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. Besides school, I love to go hunting, fishing, and work on my truck (since there's always something wrong with it). I also have a hound that seems to find trouble wherever she goes.
On a horse basis (my account's main focus), I three-day evented when I was younger, but sadly left that behind when I moved from my hometown at age 13; I had horses until I was a senior in high school. Although I haven't had horses for the past four years or so, when life settles down, I plan to get back into eventing and hopefully compete at a national level.
I've entered the world of deviantART to post photo manipulations. I haven't created anything for quite some time, but I've seen the current trends in equine manipulation and I'd like to join in! Been researching stock photos and tutorials, so look for some art soon :)

Things are starting to come back to me since I haven't really manipulated in so long. Still having issues with mane and tail painting, using a mouse which doesn't feel very natural; hopefully within the next month will have a tablet and my technique will improve. Until then, working with what I've got. Looking for some advice/ tutorials from others on "successful" mouse-painting, if any exist :)

First posting, going to keep it rather light. Haven't done manipulations for quite a few years, four or five to be exact (life got in the way); use to make them for an equine sim site I played when younger. Now looking to manipulate for my own self-gratification :) Actually pretty excited about it, switched to a Mac last year and upgraded my software to CS6 (PC's and I weren't getting along). Been doing research on current equine manipulation trends and such, looking at tutorials, stock photos, and others' work for inspiration; so if I've started watching your page that's why. Hopefully first photo will be up within the next week or so; start
